April Groves recently asked her readers what they were reading. So, if you had a hard time coming up with something impressive (like I did) or you’re struggling to find something worthwhile, here is a list of top 10 business books on the WSJ Business Book Index:

I have read three out of the ten, so I have a ways to go. A friend just recommended “Four Hour Work Week” and I hope to get to that soon. Also, I’m supposed to do a book review on “The Age of Turbulence” for my blog but haven’t. But hopefully soon I will have read 50% of the books on this list!

I’m reading “Rich Dad Poor Dad” by Robert T. Kiyosaki right now but not because I haven’t read it before. Instead, I’m hosting a “Book Club” on my weblog. The idea is to cover (1) one chapter weekly or bi-weekly (due to the holiday schedule) and do a recap on the chapter while hi-lighting basic but important financial topics.
The premise is simple, we talk about helping our clients build sustainable financial futures and helping them buy the home of their dreams. Well, why not engage with them on another level and share with them some great reading material?

As I mentioned over at April’s post, I read a lot of blgos, but also try to read at least 3 books a month, mostly in a summary format (business books). I have found Citizen Marketers to be an excellent book for the bloggers as it is about social media and how it propels business.
