Matt Stigliano

Matt is a former PA-based rockstar turned real estate agent with RE/MAX Access in San Antonio, TX. He was asked to join AgentGenius to provide a look at the successes and trials of being a newer agent. His consumer-based outlook on the real estate business has helped him see things from both sides. He is married to a wonderful woman from England who makes him use the word “rubbish.”

The day the earth didn’t stand still.
There was an earthquake near Washington, D.C. this morning – nothing earth shattering, but a bit of surprise for those in the area I would guess. I woke up and saw the news on Twitter, which is…

I am not an SEO genius…
…but, between the articles here and my own experiences, I’ve figured out a few things that work for me. My RErockstar.com blog isn’t the highest ranked site, but it garners enough traffic that I consider it to be…

Did you miss me?
I did. I missed me a lot. Last time we spoke via AgentGenius, I had just temporarily let my real estate license expire in order to take care of some personal family-type stuff. It sucked being without a license. Simple…

Anything I put in this title will sound too dramatic.

Titles can be the hardest part.
I wrote the title to this post about 100 times. Each time, I thought it sounded too dramatic. This post isn’t meant to be dramatic, but rather a simple statement of fact and some words wrapped around it.…

ActiveRain’s Recent Troubles

Recently ActiveRain has been plagued by server trouble. Anyone who uses or visits the site should know the verbiage of the “bad gateway” and “proxy error” messages by heart. It’s been annoying, frustrating, and down right excruciating. There is nothing worse then…

WHAM!
There was a rock sticking out of the ground on the hill you were speeding down. You tried to jump the wagon on a homemade ramp at your neighbors. Your big sister whipped you around a corner at high speed knowing full well…

Soul searching and plan building.
Two weeks ago, I wrote “Why? Finding real estate career motivation in down times,” as I was on a bit of a soul searching quest. The idea behind the post was not “poor me, I don’t know why I…

I’m listening.
Last week’s post, “Why? Finding real estate career motivation in down times.,” was a introspective piece, meant to show the reader that we all need some motivations in our life and to do my usual of opening up myself to allow me…

I had a meeting with my broker a few days ago. No, I didn’t get called into the principal’s office… I actually asked her to take some time to sit with me. I’ve had a lot going on in…
