Guess I don’t get this post-apparently someone does not like animated gifs.

I stand by my statement that I hate animated gifs. Also, we enjoyed spending time with you ENORMOUSLY- you and Wendy are a trip! So in honor of you, I present this animated gif:
Ugh. Elegant Agent Genius, with it’s clean, professional theme and easy to read typesetting has become Myspace. Where are the RockYou! embeds with photos of drunken frat parties? Or maybe some of those awful “copy paste” sparkely gifs that say “U R my BFF!!!1!”
Why use animated Gifs, when you can use simple Jpegs to blow some minds!
Also, great post Russell. I share your sentiments on animated Gifs as I am of the generation that seems to rank popularity based on how gaudy a profile you keep on your social network of choice. On the plus side however, Gifs have led to innovative ways for me to Rick-Roll my fellow employees!
At least I found a good source for animated gif’s from this post – much easier than PS.
There is something mesmerizing about animated gifs, I had to stop everything that I was doing and read every frame of the image, so they do work. Now I need to incorporate them in my website somewhere.
