Google autocomplete humor – real estate edition

Friday funny time

It’s time to let our hair down as we examine what the world thinks of the real estate sector when you’re not looking. Have you ever noticed that when you start typing in words in Google it suggests the next several words? Looking closely at those suggestions that are based on other users’ searches can often provide quite a chuckle.

Today, we’ll look at some Google autocompletion for real estate, inspired by Fail Blog’s autocomplete segment which is incredibly funny and mostly inappropriate for work, children or people who cry easily.

Read carefully, mostly to see what the outside world thinks of you, but there is one that will have you rolling on the floor laughing…

Ninjas? Wow. Go to Google and see what funny or interesting autocompletions you can come up with pertaining to real estate (and of course come tell us about your findings in the comments)!

Hey Lani, out of curiosity, what were the search returns for the two “Realtor” queries? Yelp? Blogs? And the like?

Realtors are ninjas in blazers?? Hysterical. I don’t even own a blazer! Tested auto-complete in my browser and got the same results… And Google is our measure for what exactly? Beats me right now…

This is hilarious. And might be a good way to figure out what to write about too.

I just typed in “How to Choose” and got:
    1. how to choose a career
    2. how to choose a dog
    3. how to choose a college
    4. how to choose a major
    5. how to choose a mattress
    6. how to choose a bike
    7. how to choose a laptop
    8. how to choose between two guys (LOL!)
    9. how to choose a medical specialty
    10. how to choose a dog breed

LOL, I’ve been playing with it for the past 10 minutes and it’s getting too funny. Some of the ‘auto completes’ that came up for me are unsafe for work (to put it nicely)!

    4. how to sell a house quickly
    5. how to sell on ebay for beginners
    6. how to sell your house
    7. how to sell on craigslist
    8. how to sell on amazon
    9. how to sell a house
    10. how to sell your soul to the devil
