IT’S A LIGHT SWITCH!!!! lol Chris, this is one of your finer finds… as Perot says, “that’s HIGH.LARIOUS!”

  2. Ken Montville - The MD Suburbs of DC

I think those pavers are actually steps in the Landscape FAIL but the perspective is pretty terrible. The railroad tie in the faux garden is pretty ugly, too. Nothing like stone, stone and more stone to convey the message of “You don’t have to mow the lawn, here.”

I hope the NBA draft gets that property sold quick!

Good deal it wasn’t raining on the landscaping shot either or that deck might have been under water – must be six feet of elevation from the picture angle to the deck!

What’s that thing on top of the counter tops – above the open dishwasher??? it looks like something died there!

  5. Lani Rosales

OH hell no, if you send me oak light switch plates, I will assault you with a deadly kitten. ;)

  6. Matt Stigliano

Chris – No need to look too hard. I couldn’t find “snazzy” but I did find oak.

Lani doesn’t need fancy, she just needs “old world charm.”

You guys, my mother gave me these light plates before she died, I can’t believe you would make fun of them. ;)

(JK, MOM, you don’t have bad taste nor are you dead but I know you read AG so, uh… sorry I invoked your name!)

  8. Matt Stigliano

    You.Hell.Go.Now.

    How could you Lani?

    Haha.

  9. Lani Rosales

This went wrong really quickly…. lol

omg hilarious! I can’t tell you how often I find these types of pictures in my Real Estate journeys and wonder…just what were they thinking when they took that photo! Love it!

  11. Lori Bee

I’m thinking of getting Johnny Fairplay to be a guest blogger here now. Juz sayin….

Invoking the name of “not dead” people… super cool. ;-)

Love the pics. But this all would be contemporary in WV where I’m from. (Oh yes I did !!! )

    They’re steps!

  13. Lisa Sanderson

No no no! I have the same affliction, apparently. But now that someone pointed it out I can see it’s ‘possible’ that they are steps. So the photographers ONLY mistake was the angle. I am so relieved.

  14. Paula Henry

Steps or not, it is a rather confusing picture – I hope it wasn’t the best shot provided in the marketing of this home, now that’s a scary thought!

  15. Elaine Reese

I’ve got it! The round stones are going down to the deck. To the right, the ground is further going down because it’s dropping lower than the deck. Therefore, the RR tie and those stones are providing a “terraced” retaining wall.

    Yeah, that’s the ticket.

  16. Elaine Reese

Um-m-m-m … you missed the agent’s yard sign and flyer holder sitting in the dining section of the kitchen with the open drawers.

  17. Irina Netchaev

Hillarious! Absolutely hillarious!!!!! I really need a good laugh today!

  18. Jacci

Wow, that one does look like a crime scene photo. I’m also not really sure why anyone would even take a pic of that poor landscaping. It’s so bad it’s funny.

  19. Matt - Austin

WOW!!! I own a landscaping company and I find it hard to believe that whoever took the pic of the landscaping design was sober or even sane. Did they really put it on the MLS or was this just a pic that someone found and submitted it to you? If it was really on the MLS, I want to know what they were thinking posting this. LOL…

  20. Lorraine - Atlanta

Scary isn’t it? Just goes to show you how some agents work. Pictures are key in this market and there’s just no excuse for some of these.
