Content is king. When I do a class on how to start a blog I start with what the blog should be about, and how to set up the categories and two connect with readers. it is the readers who give us a clue of what we should write. I get a lot of traffic but sometimes when it goes down it is because I am off of my game and have forgotten what my readers want. Once I give it to them again my traffic goes up I have been saying this for years and it has been said before. Content is king. I have been trying to get it manageable, not too much and you're right not too technical. Taught on it this past Tues at a KW office in Mi. It is my second time to teach there, first on blogging and now Social Media. I told them I wasn't coming back if they didn't join 2 sites as only 2 had started blogging after my first time. I left there thinking....you can take a horse to water but you can't make them drink.
