Instant blog article idea for you:
Many non-industry-produced videos center around misinformation or realtor bashing but this video features some very common sense, simple ways that home sellers can stage their home not just for a short sale (as the video indicates) but for a standard home sale. Although this video is my second favorite (after 10 Mistakes Sellers Make), it is well done. Note in the video that the furniture is ugly (the videographer didn’t set unreal expectations) and all suggestions are feasible on all budgets.
Your sellers should see this in a post from you, they should see that you understand their fears of how complicated the staging process is but you’re there to simplify it for them. I’m thinking of post titles like “Stage Your Home for Under $50″ or “Cheap, Quick Fixes to get Your Home Sold Faster.” Let us know how you envision using this staging video!
2 Minute Video:
First, watch the video. Second, click on the center of the video to open the original page where you’ll find the embed code underneath the video. Copy & paste the code into a blog article and BOOM you’re done. Easy.

Very nice little video…my only hesitation in posting it to my blog is all of the related videos that pop up afterwards, which are the bashing ones you referred to at the start. Should I let that be a deterrant?

Matt, maybe you should post the related videos and talk about them before they watch them- why hide it, they’re going to see it anyway somewhere, somehow…
Isn’t there a way to add additional code, so the other videos don’t pop up? See #8 on the following link

Thanks, Lani. I am always looking for a great quick post idea to fill in amongst the other posts that take a while for me to create.

@LaniAR – You always post these great videos and this one is no exception. I’m with Benn on the idea of posting the others and talking about them – let’s open the dialogue up and talk to the consumer. We know there’s “bad mojo” out there when it comes to real estate, why not clean the air and discuss it like adults.

There a few nice videos on the Howcast website that Realtors can use on their blog. I have pulled all the useful ones and added them to my blog a few months ago.
Tony, # 8 ‘&rel=0? might work with Youtube but does not change anything with Howcast. At least it didn’t when I tried it.
Lani, like this? http://www.allphoenixareahomes.com/?p=49
Thanks!
Lani – another great post and tip – I need a prescription for whatever you’re taking.

Thanks Lani! I just added it to my blog.
