I’m a former radio personality who survived two airborne crashes to change careers and become a part of the real estate community. I had the incredible opportunity to watch the true power of the mass media in action and now am learning how to translate that into today’s endless online media opportunities. Speaker, Real Estate Broker, husband and step father.

It stopped for me as well, but I’m using a Mac and Firefox as my browser. Just FYI

I believe it’s a Vimeo issue, I made it all the way to 2:37 before Greg turned into a pixelated robot. :) The next time I watched it, it went all the way through.

That said, I think that your story is not unique (Greg) in that there are many tales of agents who brought perfection to the table and closings were pushed and pushed and pushed back, some never making it to the key swap for insignificant reasons.

The problem is that we have a lot of politicians in the middle of all of this mucking it up- just last month, Barney Frank called for the abolishment of F&F which one would think would be to solve situations like you’ve outlined above, but given his track record, it’s so he can have a legacy of starting a new financial overlord situation so that F&F stand for Frank & Friends instead. Who knows?

Tax credits are great and all but if HAMP is any indication of how government run housing programs work, this real estate economy being in the crapper isn’t a blip on the map, it’s a mark of how the next three years could well end up. Am I on crazy pills here? Gah, you’ve hit my hot button of whether or not Uncle Sam is good (so, I say that it depends on if Pelosi is wearing Sam’s hat or not).

I think government should stay out of trying to “fix” the housing crunch and focus on helping small business create JOBS… that’s what we need in the USA – J O B S! When that is better, housing will get better. Logically you can not expect it to work any other way.

Rebooted, reset browser, refreshed browser, can’t get past the 2:13 mark without Greg turning in to a not-so-teenage mutant AG author.

Wow! Greg, I was a little late to the party (Monday about 2:55pm EST) and the video “no longer exists”. You’re not showing the Hoosier Girls Gone Wild video, again, are you?

Everyone….had to pull the old video and upload again to vimeo. The new embed should be coming shortly!

@Fred If the government would stop trying to fix anything and let things stabilize things would improve. Stable tax rates, stable financing aids, I cringe that the government keeps trying to “HELP”
