Super Easy Animation Creator

1. Go to Gickr.com.
2. Upload the images you want to play in succession (flickr uploads coming soon).
3. Right click on final animated .gif and save.

Check It Out!

Now you have an animated .gif image that functions as a .jpg, .png or other image format. You can use these in your blogs or your advertising. How will you use animated gifs?

    Tres gauche! I would rather not see animated gifs in otherwise elegant blogs. There’s a danger of creating eyesores reminiscent of Myspace pages.

    If anyone is sophisticated enough to make use of Gickr.com, and let it pull their FLickr photos, they are sophisticated enough to use the native Flickr slide show builder, inside their Flickr account:

    Flickr slide shows make for much nicer presentations, and the viewer can speed up the presentation mimicking the same behavior of an animated gif.

    Fuzzy, 1990s era animated gifs – DO NOT WANT!

    Todd, I AGREE, I really hate animated .gifs but there IS a time and place for them- documenting a home being built via animated gifs is a cool way to show progress, publishing your shots of the massive condo development being built that you blog about, etc.

    I published this because I get this question a lot although I am opposed to animated gifs 99% of the time.

    I wish I had had the foresight – there’s a huge project going up in my area where I could have utilized this. Oh well – there’ll be others.

    I was stumbling the other day and saw this guy using pictures to create an “animated” photo album. This would be really cool for that.
