Blog Fodder
Struggling to find something to write about after the holidays? In a rush to catch up with work? Last month, the cleanest and dirtiest water report was put into infographic form and today, we found the Environmental Working Group website that allows you to search for tap water data by zip code or water utility company and discover how many pollutants are found in your own tap water. I have yet to find a zip code or company with a perfect record, so don’t freak out.
Visit the site, hover over the contaminants in your area to learn what they are and what they do. It’s not only entertaining (morbidly) but it’s interesting not only for your blog readers as well as opportunities homeowners have for water filtration systems, or you could put utility companies head to head with water quality. What will you come up with to share with your readers?

It warms my heart to see so much arsenic in my water. Gross! But, oddly engaging.

This was entertaining and somewhat distrubing… Lead and chloroform top the list for my neighborhood in Seattle, WA. And thats in the city. I’d like to see what the boonies have coming out of their faucets.
