Even the bubble bloggers (aka industry outsiders) are reacting to the commentary in the blogiverse (including Agent Genius’ take on the video).

I find it quite amusing that such a simple concept can be so appalling to some people “in the business.” As an industry outsider and some-day home buyer, I find straightforward, honest content like this to be refreshing. If I was considering using an agent to sell a home and was shown this video, I would think “how nice that they are willing to be honest with me,” not “I love it when salespeople treat me like a moron.,” which is what Mr. Swann thinks “consumers” would say.
Excellent video, Tim. I should have a viewing party (with food and adult bevs) this weekend at my house for all the neighborhood who have had their homes on the market for 6+ months. You have to plant a seed to get anything to grow.
I like the way he pushes the message up and back to the camera. The music is comical too.

some times the best ideas are the simplest. When ever we are creative or think outside the box, or fail to do things the same way everyone else does someone isn’t going to like it. . . and that is as good of a reason for being creative as any. When people don’t like something it creates controversy and as we all know controversy is where it is at when it comes to blogs.
Innovation, creativity, individuality, risk taking, non-conformity, independence, authenticity will always prevail, despite the self-proclaimed arbiters of taste.
