EveryBlock- Irresistable Resource for Bloggers

everyblock.com great source for real estate bloggers

EveryBlock.com= Blogging Inspiration

Let’s all admit that there are days that creating daily content for your blog can be a challenge. Especially if you’re running several hyperlocal blogs. The answer is EveryBlock which is a city portal that goes way beyond news. No longer do you have to dig through hundreds of articles in the newspaper that are awesome but non applicable, simply dig into EveryBlock!

How Does it Work?

Keep up with your block in the following cities:

  • Boston
  • Charlotte
  • Chicago
  • Los Angeles
  • New York
  • Philadelphia
  • San Francisco
  • Seattle
  • Washington, DC

I’m in Austin, so I’m devastated that EveryBlock isn’t in Austin yet, but I’ll live. What’s cool about this site is that it’s not just an events calendar like so many of the current offerings online, it covers:

  • Public records: building permits, business licenses, restaurant inspections
  • Articles: city press releases, news articles
  • More: business reviews, photos and (of course) real estate listings (which are streamed in from Trulia)

How Will You Use It?

I encourage people in the cities available to give it a shot- find great fodder for your blog because it even narrows it down by neighborhood, how cool is that? We know that you’re the ultimate source of information for your area, so why not supplement your expertise with some fresh information? How will YOU use EveryBlock?

Now we’re talking:-) Thanks for blogging about this site. My little town doesn’t make the list, but I’ll let my family know in Chicago.
