I didn’t really like my options for question #3 – I believe NAR wants to believe and tell everyone they are conservatives, but are in fact more liberal. Why else would we have one of the most powerful, and well funded lobbyist groups.
Conservatives, and well… Republicans are always saying how they want “smaller government” or not so much meddling into affairs that should be allowed to work themselves out. Yet, I am always getting hit up from my board to contribute to a political action committee that I do not even get a vote on what they are lobbying for each year.
So, if it were available I would have chosen C. Clueless

I agree with Jay regarding #3 – I’ve found NAR to be purely political, meaning they support the issues regardless of the party … or candidate. Oftentimes, regardless of what locals think.

I would have liked to see more questions. 🙂

I think when we roll the results you’ll understand why there aren’t a litany of options. Our goal isn’t to make a statement with the poll, but more of a sense of perception.
@Jay Myers Thanks for the laugh, duly noted!
@Maureen “that’s what she said” per Michael Scott
@Dean interesting, thanks for the input.

I ran political campaigns for over a decade. As someone who worked strictly for republicans I can tell you we LOVED the NAR. I do not personally agree with all of their stances they take, but when it comes to supporting candidates more often then not from my point of view they were on the “right” side.

Agree with what Jay said – shoulda been a “neither” button. Fiscal message over the years hasn’t made much sense, but they like to be painted as if they’re fighting for the little guy’s rights.

I’ve never been a fan of NAR.

I think that most people think of the NAR as being in business to make a buck and not for the benefit of the actual Realtors.
