Preview pages in a standard search
When you’re trying to do a quick search on Google, Yahoo or Bing and you just want to recall which link is the one you wanted based on visual memory, or maybe you’re a visual learner or searcher, there is an extension that allows search previews that adds thumbnail images of the result next to your search results.
This is a time saver for those who frequent search portals. Most people Google something at least once each day (or 20+ times a day if you’re me), so this can help people skim results faster.
If your website is hideous, this is perhaps another wakeup call for a redesign- you may be weeded out by users of this extension based on the preview of your site. This is another case for form becoming as important as function. Is your website ready?
Download the extension for Google Chrome here and for Firefox here.
